Service Description

All interested members must audition at the start of term to be considered for our Ballet Youth Company. Dancers will be required to have a strong understanding in ballet technique and terminology, experience in pointe work is completely optional. All Ballet Youth Company members are required to attend the following compulsory classes throughout the season: Sunday Ballet Youth Company Class, Sunday Elite/Intermediate Ballet, and Sunday Elite /Intermediate Lyrical Contemporary. This meets the minimal requirement of total of 3 hours, however additional classes are encouraged. During their 60 minute Ballet Youth Company classes they will be focusing on learning and rehearsing choreography for the competition season. Technique and Conditioning will be taught in the Ballet and Lyrical Contemporary classes. All Ballet Youth Company members will learn two group routines, Classical and Contemporary Ballet. Members will be required to attend two compulsory competitions throughout the season, as well as participating in one Guest Workshop. All Youth Company routines will be performed at the XDL Annual End of Year Show on the West End. By joining this team, all members understand that they are fully committed and dedicated to attending this class, along with the required classes, throughout the season.

Cancellation/ Refund Policy

- Lessons can be cancelled up to 2 weeks before the start of term in order to receive a full refund. - Lessons cancelled after the start of term will receive no refunds. - Each lesson fee is based on the amount of students attending the class at the start of term. Therefore all Lessons fees are non-transferable once the term commences. - Additional classes joined later into term may be charged pro rata depending on when the student has joined.
